Atatürk Primary School was founded in 1969 in the city center of Nevşehir.It is one of the oldest school in Nevşehir.Our school was serving two different fields;One of them was primary education school and the other was secondary school until 2012.In 2012/2013 Education and Training Year,our school has separated from each other as primary and secondary schools.

     In our school,there are 12 classes,a special training class,a science laboratory,a library,a computer laboratory,a conference hall,a sport room and a counsellor service.The school has 22 staff and 279 students.

Most of school students are from socio-economically disadvantaged families who have newly moved to city center from rural areas.Students are motivated to be successful in their educational and social platforms.The school has successes in the regional chess,basketball and football.There are some after school and weekend activities for the students organized by school teachers such as picnics and sport activities.We have also many academic success.Our school is successful in the exams of entering the high schools.

     The main mission of the school is to create a learning atmosphere for the students and the whole school community to help them understand the universal values and modern life.In this point ,the school staff  is in close contact with the school students and their parents.
