Our project, The Big Influence of Small Steps, is a Comenius Bilateral project prepared by Nevsehir Ataturk Primary School from Turkey as a partner and Gimnazjum nr 2 in Bierun from Poland as a coordinator. Our project topic is environmental pollution and we aim to create learning atmosphere to get our school communities be more aware of the threat of environmental pollution. While having a international cooperation towards a mutual matter not only for partner countries but also for the whole Europe, we expect our project to make the participants feel the sense of belonging to European Union. Aside from cooperation in development of knowledge and generate the reaction to environmental pollutions, we also aim to learn and teach each other's languages at least in minimum basic level. In this purpose, we aim to make online video conferences. Our working language will be English and the participants will use it via e-mails, video conferences, chats to convey a project communication. There will also be established an E-twinning group to keep the participants updated about the project activities and plans.

We plan at least 20 students exchanges of visit to each other's country during which students will have an active cooperation that they will learn and teach each other's language, carry activities about environmental matters, make presentations, and hold local activities.

We expect a great number of products as outcomes of our projects such as the website, blog, photo album, visual dictionary, school corners, leaflet, surveys and questionnaires. All of them will be shared with local communities via local media conferences and announcements.

We have a set of criteria of evaluating our project process in which students will also be actively involving.
